I've recently had occasion to listen to the Brahms and Mendelssohn cycles by Francesco d'Avalos and the Philharmonia orchestra on YouTube, and I find his performances right up there with the likes of Toscanini, Cantelli and other greats. I wonder if any of the MusicWeb critics agree?

Also wonderful are his Wagner, Franck Symphony, Schubert 9th and Bruckner 7th, IMO.

I would love to see remasters of all his performances by whichever record company owns these performances.
