Thanks Ralph for the speedy response. It's no big deal, although I undertook a great deal of research, including getting in touch with Miaskovsky's Great-Niece in the USA, to make the notes meaningful to anyone buying the CDs and it's nice to have my contribution acknowledged.

Just to point that that following the sad death of Per Skans I wrote the notes for the last five Alto/Olympia releases, including symphonies 17, 21 and 23 as well as all the shorter orchestral works. My contribution was acknowledged in the individual reviews by Rob Barnett and Gregor Tassie but not in the current review of the complete cycle, which suggests that all the notes were written by Per Skans.
