I have removed that reference to Hans Bauer in Rob's review.

Thanks for this reference. But from Rob's sentence, one would infer that Bauer's recording is the coupling to Welser-Möst's 1995 Schmidt 4 on EMI [724355551825] - it's not.

There is but one entry in Discogs for conductor Hans Bauer: https://www.discogs.com/release/6357937-Arriaga-Franz-Schmidt-Hans-Bauer-New-Philharmonia-Orchestra-Symphony-In-D-Major-Variations-On-A-Huss

In Rob Barnett's Déjà Review of Järvi's Chandos set of Schmidt symphonies (re-posted on 25-Jan-26), in reference to alternatives for the Fourth symphony, he writes "There’s also another – and easier to find Fourth – this time from Franz Welser-Möst. It’s on EMI Classics with Hans Bauer’s Hussarenlied Variations...". Who is Hans Bauer??
