May I forward my gratitude to Mr Ralph Moore for his critical in-depth review of the Bruckner symphony cycle by maestro Lu Jia and the China NCPA Orchestra, and to MusicWeb International for bringing forth to the Brucknerian community this fair and non-prejudgemental account on an orchestra that has hitherto been little known internationally. For your information the Bruckner first and second were live recordings, whereas the rest were "studio" recordings made alongside the live performances. As one who has staunchly watched and supported the NCPA Orchestra through the years and attended 6 of the 9 Bruckner symphony concerts in person, it is a myriad of pleasure, pride and passion to witness this group emerge amidst the elite international orchestra fraternity.
