FORGOTTEN ARTISTS - An occasional series by Christopher Howell 9. FRANZ ANDRÉ (1893-1975)

Hello extract from Mr Howell's article says: ..."The Russian repertoire finds André on firmer ground, though one potentially major offering, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade (Telefunken LP LGX 66018, rec. 2.10.1952, Palais des Beaux Arts, Brussels), has eluded me." A few weeks ago I found Telfunken LP TC 8011 Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade Symphony Orchestra of the Belgian National Radio Franz Andre. I have searched on-line and the only reference is of recording under LGX 66018. So not sure what I have found it seems to be missing the inner sleeve which supposedly have details of the orchestra etc., as the cover back has only advertising for other records by Telefunken. The label shows made in Canada. Thanks LB
