Pappano's new recording of the Berlioz Requiem

Thanks to Dan Morgan for his detailed review; he makes this new release sound most appealing.
It can be irritating when folk play the "but you should have mentioned" game - a reviewer can rarely cover absolutely everything, and I should know - but I would just like to put in a word for a recording he does not mention, which is James Levine's in Berlin, issued in 1992. There are a few co-ordination and blurring issues but it is a thrilling account and Pavarotti, along with Stuart Burrows for Bernstein, is one of the best tenor soloists. I look forward to hearing this new one, though.
