An article by O. Semino et al. published in the journal Science (Volume 290, 10 November 2000) reported the detection of the M11-G mutation, which is one of the mutations that defines Haplogroup L, in approximately 1% to 3% of samples from Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Calabria, and Andalusia. The sizes of the samples analyzed in this study were generally quite small, so it is possible that the actual frequency of Haplogroup L among Mediterranean European populations may be slightly lower or higher than that reported by Semino et al., but there seems to be no study to date that has described more precisely the distribution of Haplogroup L in Southwest Asia and Europe.
Given the small effective population size of the Parsis, the closeness of their match to the Iranian data may be fortuitous, and the presence of haplogroup 28 chromosomes at 18% (4% in Iran; Wells et al. 2001) suggests some gene flow from the surrounding populations. The TMRCA for the Parsi-specific cluster in the haplogroup 28 networks was 1,800 (600–4,500) years (table 8), consistent with the migration of a small number of lineages from Iran. Overall, these results demonstrate a close match between the historical records and the Y data, and thus suggest that the Y data will be useful when less historical information is available

I have long taught were descendant of Yazdegerd III the last Zoroastrian King of Persia who had J1a or J1b haplogroup but Yazdegerd III Y chromosome line is J1b however his daughter Nazbanu who had J1a or J1b from the Male also had L-M11 haplogroup from mtDNA which going more farther back then just the Exilarch Mar Abba the 21th Exilarch daughter Shushandukt. L-M11 haplogroup mtDNA goes back to the time Darius I and conquest of Greece. Both L-M11 haplogroup which came Persian Royal family Pars which pure Persian from Pars ancient homeland of the Persian people who were called Parsa and K-M70 came from the Iraq or Sumeria when the Jewish Prince like Daniel and Princess like Esther at the time help Darius who mother was Jewish Kill the Magi King Cambyses. Darius I the Great reigned from 522 to 486 BCE.
