How does a good show become underrated? I think bad scheduling is the primary reason. The Pretender was on NBC Saturday nights for four years (September 1996 - May 2000), as part of their Saturday night Thrillology. The Thrillology was cancelled to make way for NBC's <scarcasm>highly successful</scarcasm> XFL franchise. The Pretender reruns can currently be seen weeknights on TNT at 7:00 p.m. Since the series left NBC, TNT has made two follow-up movies. The Pretender 2001 aired on TNT in January 2001. The Pretender: Island of the Haunted finished production around March 2001, and is expected to air on TNT this fall. TNT is looking at a Fall 2001 production start for the third Pretender movie. More Pretender information. Daria was a spin off of my favorite series of all time, MTV's Beavis and Butt-Head. Daria started in 1997, pretty much as a replacement to the retiring Beavis and Butt-Head, as creator Mike Judge had moved on to King of the Hill, Sunday nights on FOX since January 1997. The final episode of Daria aired only once on MTV, Monday, June 25, 2001 at 10:00 p.m. They still have not aired that episode again, which is surprising because a channel like MTV usually plays the hell out of anything new. The conclusion to Daria will be the made-for-tv movie Is It College Yet? Family Guy is FOX's red-headed step-child. It premiered after the 1999 Superbowl, was bounced all around the schedule (it never had a regular spot on the schedule), went off the air for for a year, miraculously returned to FOX on Wednesday, July 11, 2001 at 9:30 p.m. (where it can currently be seen), and is in danger of yet another scheduling death blow, potentially being moved to Thursday nights at 8:00 p.m. this fall, to fight for the scraps left by CBS's Survivor and NBC's Friends. More Family Guy information. Freaks & Geeks appeared on NBC's Saturday night Thrillology during the 1998-1999 season. It was about a group of high school kids living in a Detroit, Michigan suburb in 1980. A point of trivia about this show, there is one episode where one girl says her family went to Benton Harbor for the summer, as a derogatory remark. That is probably the only time I have ever heard Benton Harbor, Michigan referenced on a fictional television show. Freaks & Geeks was recently in reruns on Fox Family Channel every night at 10:00 p.m. It looks like it is off the schedule now. A note about Fox Family Channel, Rupert Murdock's News Corp sold Fox Family Channel to Disney last week. Fox Family Channel will be renamed ABC Family Channel. This is Disney's first acquisition since buying ABC in 1996. DEAR STACY: I have been a "Pretender" fan since the first show aired
years ago. I know they canceled the series, but weren't they going to
make five or six two-hour movies that finally answered all the
questions? I saw the one they made, but it posed more questions than it
answered. And what is Michael T. Weiss doing now? -- Angela A., Austin,

cable company now holds the franchise) plans to air it later this year,
with no specific date set yet. Meanwhile, they're looking at a fall
production start for the third "Pretender" movie. Besides his ongoing
"Pretender" activities, Weiss has the feature "Bones" -- a chiller with
Snoop Dogg and Pam Grier -- due for release Oct. 27.More Family Guy Information:

Subject: Important Message From Stewie!
I write to you today as a call to arms! As you may know, the Nielsen
ratings for my program have been very strong since my return to the
airwaves a few short weeks ago. HOWEVER, at the start of the coming fall
season, those ninnies at Fox are planning to ship "Family Guy" of to the
Siberia of the prime-time television schedule: Thursdays at 8:00 p.m
ET/PT. I am gravely concerned that such a bone-headed move will have a
devastating (and potentially fatal) impact on our beloved show.
FOX KEEP "FAMILY GUY" ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS!! After moving the show all
around the schedule, then taking it off the air, and finally putting it
back on, its time that they hear from you, the audience!

of "Family Guy" last year, so history shows us that your support can
make the difference! And if you have friends who would be willing to
write, too, then enlist them in our crusade as well IMMEDIATELY!
