Queen of the Harpies

Harpiesbizarre.com was founded 11 years ago today. In some ways, it seems like a million years ago and other times it seems like just the twinkle of one of Samantha's stars, since this Web site started. It was a special time when a group of online friends got together and started contributing original articles, scans, ideas, and more to make this site a treasure trove for people who want to learn more or reminisce about the classic TV show Bewitched.

Thank you to everyone who has shared your knowledge, insight, collections, research, and time with us throughout the years. You are a terrific group of people and it has been a pleasure working with you on this project!

You kid, Jan, but Joe and Arfies have finished high school AND college in the time this site has been around. It's hard for me to believe just how much all of our lives have changed in more than a decade!

Aw, happy birthday, Harpies. This site has brought me so many friends, so much wonderful info, all the joy of the 40th anniversary and the DVDs, the controversies about the movie, a visit to The Shrine in LA, meeting Casey, and so many fantabulous people (and you know who you are), and got me through a wretched, wretched case of pneumonia one Christmas. I love this place and all who swoop by from time to time. Thank you, Melanie and Bob!!!!

Craziness indeed! I can't believe it's been 11 (!!!) years... I feel so old. I was in middle school when this started (after "discovering" it in October 2000 and making my first post in December). High school... college... Master's... job hunting... (argh...) Harpies was there through it all! Thanks for the fantastic site and all the work you do!
