I was reading Pretty in Plaid by Jen Lancaster and I found a Bewitched Reference! Here is the quote, " I'd rather watch The Jeffersons or Gilligan's Island or Bewitched, except for when Sam's evil cousin Serena is on. All that white skin and black hair creep me out. Girlfriends needs a tan, like, now." Was Serena scary to anyone else? " This proves that the only thing stronger then witchcraft is love". Samantha Stephens.

Oh please...I thought Serena was rather attractive in a hippie hippie horay kind of way.

Ha! I have this book and started it, but haven't gotten to that part yet. Good find. And, nope, I never thought she was scary, but I did not believe she was Elizabeth Montgomery when I was a kid. I did think she seemed much paler and skinnier than Samantha. LOL!Sow's ears are not made into silk purses by the addition of a few dandelions, Samantha!
Same with me! I totally freaked when I learned to read the end credits and found out that Sam and Serena were the same person." This proves that the only thing stronger then witchcraft is love". Samantha Stephens.
I never thought she was scary, or evil--just goofy! She did look re-e-ally pale in the Loch Ness episode--pre-mermaid look, that is. Maybe this person was spooked by her eyeliner?"Witches are good! Witches are dear!"
