Maybe they filmed that sequence over a period of a day or two and Liz forgot to put it back on.

Close-ups and the other wider shots would have different camera setups and thus, could yes, actually have been shot on different days.

Good catch. I think her hair looks "fresher" on the day she isn't wearing the cat pin, too.

Sow's ears are not made into silk purses by the addition of a few dandelions, Samantha!
