...tonight ABC premiered the Eighth Season of BW with Episode #229: "How Not to Lose Your Head to King Henry VIII" on it's new Wednesday night slot at 8/7PM Central on ABC.
The episode was introduced by the beautiful Liz in this clip:

A change this year: the opening titles no longer had any sponsor mentions, and the version we see in syndication is the original season 8 opening, with a different voice-over announcer than we had in season 7.
Other than that there weren't any other changes I can think of.

Sorry...thought of one more: the closing credits now stated "An Ashmont Production" at the end. AFAIK, this was only on the season eight episodes.
