Samantha's transition from season 2 to season 3

I've been stuck on season 1 & 2 for so long, that once I finally decided I had gotten my fill & moved on to season 3, I was really taken back by how different Samantha/Liz looks btwn seasons 2 & 3. I'm assuming her gorgeous tan is due to the fact that the show was now in color & she wanted to look dark, but her hair is so silky smooth looking, perfect length & color & her body is all toned up. Do you think she may have done some "spa" time btwn the 2 seasons to get into such good shape & look so healthy?

Keep in mind that she was pregnant with Robert during some of the filming of season 2. He was born October 1965. I've noticed that she and DY were tan in "Nobody's Perfect", the season opener. I think it might have to do with being shot in late summer and they had both had some "pool time". I noticed her eyelashes don't seem quite as long and you see how petite and pretty she was in season 3.

I am not sure if this the right forum for this but I'll just say it anyways.

I think it's great that you are a stay at home mom. My wife quit her high paying career to become a stay at home mom some years ago. It was the best decision she ever made. I wish more folks could afford to do the same.

It's kind of funny how much like the show life can be like. We bought a house built in 1973 and back-modeled it (kept it true to 1973)in a nice 70's neighborhood. We incorporated a lot of decor from bewitched into the house. Now it seems like we kind of live a Bewitched sort of life. Repairman come to our house on occasion for different things that need repaired. Neighbors pop in from time to time. Neighborhood kids hang out at our house quite a bit. Etc, etc. Anyways, it's funny how life can be sometimes. We laugh at how much our lives are like that of Darrin and Samantha sometimes.

I always believed that the color of Sam's skin is tan/orangish due to the new type of makeup they had to use to make actors pop our on the screen. You'll notice that Darrin and Larry oth have that orangish glow to them. Maybe I am wrong , I don't know. As far as Sam's overall style, she looks her best in the 3rd season. Her hair is perfect length the clothes she wears are beautiful and she really captures the 60s look.

Thanks what's his name! I've loved every minute of being a stay at home mom & wife. It's all I ever really wanted to do!

How cool that you have been able to live your own version of Bewitched!! I really wish more people would simplify their lives!

MrMortimer, you are right, she was pregnant in real life during season 2, so that is another reason I am wondering how she was able to look SO good in season 3. She had just given birth when we see her in season 1 & although she is beautiful, she isn't as toned up as she is in season 3 after having Robert. I'm just an admirer I guess. She was so beautiful & I think season 3 is her best! Maybe she was just purely happy & it made her glow!

I'll add to the joys of being a stay-at-home mom. Unfortunately, my little witch is all grown up and just sent in college apps last night!!

I agree that Season 3 was the best for Samantha overall. Love that 60s flip hair-do before we got season 4/5's Pouf and the hippy look down the road. Actually, I liked her post-pregnancy-with-Adam look when her hair was flipped under...
