Door knobs!

I have always found it strange that Aunt Clara took over 100 door knobs in the Witches are Out episode. Was the house a mansion? How many homes have over 50 doors, ha!

Also the door knob running gag ran out quickly. Did it make it to the third season?

Well, I have 64 door knobs in my house, and it's not a mansion. When you consider that every closet has at least one door knob, and doors to a room, or in or out of the house each have 2 door knobs, it can add up quickly!

My apartment has three doors and six knobs.

[The kitchen cabinets and my one closet have no knobs.]

Personally I love her doorknob collection. She collected them in real life too, didn't she? I love it when facets of someones personality make it into the character. Like Agnes' love of purple. This would be a good topic for a completely new post.

I love how this thread made me start counting the door knobs in my house & there are others here just like me that did the same!!

I just realized I don't have any! All of mine are levers, not knobs.

Great thread, Philigan. Thanks for getting us going! But we never answered your question about whether or not Clara kept up the doorknob collecting in subsequent episodes. I confess, I haven't checked. Anyone else out there know?
