Watch "The New Normal" this coming Tuesday!

In the new issue of TV Guide I'm looking at a photo of a scene from "The New Normal" with an actress (I think it's Ellen Barkin) dressed as our Endora for Halloween. Pretty darn good take on the dress, and I speak as one who's attempted it!

Aw shucks! Wow, who's that little girl in the picture?? My, my, it's been a long time since she looked like that! She just came home for the first time from college, and that Samantha costume sure doesn't fit anymore. On the other hand....Wonder if I could dress as Endora for costume day in my ballet class?? Could be tricky, but I could introduce a whole new group of kids to BW!

Great photo, Doc, but what's with the green belt? Other than that she looks great!

I like yours better, too. The green belt is killing this one, but I do like the lavender shoes she's got on

Ellen Barkin's character is so awful to her own daughter, Endora is actually a big step up for her.

Sow's ears are not made into silk purses by the addition of a few dandelions, Samantha!

Maurine, I'm not sure whether I'm more impressed by your costume craft, or your ability to transform. Ask 100 people if they think that your Endora picture shows the same person as the actress doing a brilliant Miss Ferndale in Salem, and (I think) most would suppose they were distinct persons!
