"BONANZA The Official Sixth Season Vol. 1" was released this week (July 9) by CBS/Paramount.
Included as a bonus feature is the 1965 Chevrolet promotional film, with Elizabeth Montgomery, Dick York, Agnes Moorehead, Robert Vaughn, Lorne Greene, Dan Blocker, Michael Landon and Lorne Greene.
The film is included as a bonus feature within the episode "The Hostage" (airdate 9/27/64). If you select the option to play it with the original sponsor bumpers, the Chevy film plays between the end of the story & the closing credits.
CBS/Paramount did not locate original 35mm materials for the Chevrolet segment, so it's presented off of a duped, color 16mm print... then edited into the DVD's episode, as it originally aired on NBC 49 years ago.
