Character actress Mary Grace Canfield died on Feb. 15 at age 89 in Santa Barbara CA.
Mary Grace was memorable as Abner's sister Harriet in several 2nd season episodes, bravely filling in for the departed Alice Pearce's Gladys. She's best remembered for her costarring role on GREEN ACRES (1965 - 1971) as the bumbling lady carpenter Ralph Monroe, and one episode of THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW as Thelma Lou's visiting cousin Mary Grace Gossage.
