Three Unsung Tabatha's

The long list of people who played Tabatha/Tabitha at one point or another, is well-documented. Lately, I thought of three more we never consider:

1.) Voice mega-talent June Foray. She was Tabatha's voice in "Baby's First Paragraph", as well as "Toys in Babeland" ("Juice! Drink!"). In the former, she was also briefly a Gladys Kravitz and -- using her Rocky the Squirrel voice -- one of the Darrins for a shining moment. And listen for her as the talking baby doll atop the van of "Dangerous Diaper Dan". Foray is still with us and working at the age of 97, and you've heard her just everywhere. 2.) Unknown little girl who sang the Tabatha promo in 1966 ("My name is Tabatha / I was just born / ..."). A shame we don't know who she is.

3.) Arguably, the very first Tabatha was Robert Asher, when the role had no lines and the only business was to extend Samantha's belly about a mile in front of her. By this generous stretch of logic (and waistband), Rebecca Asher would be the first ever to portray Adam.

Hi Octolad, A while ago I went through all 12 of Julie & Tamar Youngs' episodes carefully including "baby's first paragraph" and checked the Tabitha baby sounds and it was quite clear that the vast majoriy were dubbed in all. I asked Julie & Tamar and they checked with their mother and said, Yes, all were dubbed. Apart from a couple of small baby noises here and there. So I believe that June may have done the baby noises for all 12 eps, not just "Baby's first pararaph"
And, yes, I wish we knew who sang the Tabitha promo. And I am not sure Robert should be credited with being Tabitha, but I agree with the point made.

Thanks, Gary - I didn't know about the other dubbed baby noises. And I don't seriously propose Robert Asher as an "official" Tabatha; I threw him in just for fun.

Ah yes, Joe - I forgot to include Rae Sun Cooke-Key (sister of Haute-Miehl Cooke-Key) who briefly played Tabitha in "Tabitha's Weekend". Thanks for reminding me!
