My favorite seasons to watch are one and two. I usually watch these episodes out of sequence, based on whim. For a change, tonight I watched several season one episodes in sequence, and noticed:
Episodes 30 ("George the Warlock"), 31 ("That Was My Wife") and 32 ("Illegal Separation") are three consecutive episodes, all featuring the Boy Scout's Honor gesture (index, middle, and ring fingers raised). In each of these episodes, the sign is used to indicate truthfulness, much like the "Witches' Honor" sign. I guess that in 1965, the Boy Scout's Honor was the best available emblem of purity and honesty, short of any used in secret societies. Probably no different today."Sterbo... Vectra... Rangay... Interesting. I had not noticed that before. Sow's ears are not made into silk purses by the addition of a few dandelions, Samantha!
