I am using Syncthing to sync a work folder between my laptop and my desktop on my LAN. Everything used to work fine, but recently I noticed that the sync is not complete – the device status is stuck at 95% or 99% forever, even though there is no obvious error.

I have tried clearing the cache, resetting temporary settings, and even reinstalling Syncthing, but the problem persists. I have noticed that it is usually large files (e.g.,>2GB) or files that are being opened by another application that cause the problem. However, this is not always the case.

This is very annoying because it makes me not 100% confident that all files have been synced between the two devices. I would like to ask if anyone has encountered a similar situation and has a specific solution? Should I reset file permissions or try configuring advanced settings?
