This is why I watch you guys do this and I don't attempt it. The POV is about as close as you get. remember after Evel jumped at Holy Cross we got the chance to go to the top of the ramp and look across at the 10 van distance. It wasn't his longest jump but when you look across from the take off ramp it seems like a mile.
