Such sad news. I'm glad I got to see him jump Caesars Palace back in 1989.
First we lose Elvis's daughter, Lisa Marie Presley & now we've lost Robbie Knievel. I because a fan of Robbie's as soon as I saw him start & rev-up that Honda CR500 2-stroke!!! As a matter of fact, I'm going to get my own dirt bike and have my Dad build me a couple of ramps so I can see & feel what it's like to jump a bike!
Rest In Peace, Robbie. You will forever....FOREVER be missed by so man who were fans of your Father & fans of you! May you finally, though, be free of any pain for eternity.
WE WILL MISS YOU VERY MUCH!!!
God Bless,
Tony Trout
P.S. Regarding the Caesar's Palace jump way back in '89, if anyone has a good viewable copy of the entire three-hour-plus PPV, I would love to have a copy! The only sole copy I have is on VHS tape and is wearing out quickly!
