a conundrum isn't it? I am pretty much going through the same thing right now. All my friends have moved away or passed away. I need to find new places to put myself out there with people my age so I can make new friends. The church has become a very young crowd with babies and toddlers. I think that is a wonderful thing but not having people there our age makes it hard to make friends and with some of the problems that I have had for the last couple of years I haven't been a lot and have become mostly a homebody because it was just easier to deal with it at home. Now that things are clearing some I need to put myself out there too. If you find a good way to do it let me know because right now it is sounding sorta scary and not too appealing.
