Had to take each dog out separately for a walk before their bf this morning to keep them out of the backyard. Lew did his thing. This was the first time Co peed outside the yard (except for in the house, of course!). Was hoping she'd poop on the walk but no such luck. Had to walk her through the muck in the backyard (close to the house as the spill is more toward the back and side close to the back). I have to go to the office for a few hours. Bill has his temple duties today and tomorrow morning but should be home by 1 or 2. I sure hope he can follow directions. One dog at a time, on a leash, in the yard to pee, and, yes, you will have to do it in the rain like I have been doing all winter. AND TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF. He won't do the latter and will track mud all over along with the dogs. Hey, don't worry, Paula will take care of it, right?
Gravel guy's son came out this morning to show me the type of gravel they planned to use. I think it's too small so they are taking it up a size or two. He saw Cosette and was loving all over her. Then he shared that he had to put his 7 y/o dog down yesterday. His only symptom had been bad breath. He took him to the vet to have them look at his teeth. End stage kidney failure. He took him home for the night and he started vomiting up coffee ground emesis. They put him down the next morning (yesterday). He pulled out his phone and showed me his pup....black with a pointy face and white on his chest...like Cosette. He said he needed some puppy love this morning.
