I am in the same boat as you with doctors, but so are the kids if they have anything wrong with them at all. PCPs mainly do yearly physicals and (sometimes) coordinate all the other doctors. I can't even go to my PCP if I am sick because they tell me to go to Urgent Care. I started going to an Urgent Care near me but they have a doctor there too who sees patients and when they put his name on the insurance forms my PCP/Internal med doc didn't want to see me because he thought I had changed doctors. Medicine is a crazy world now.

Are you sure you didn't have food poisoning? I hope you are feeling better soon.
