One road into our subdivision was dry enough to pass in single file. The water had gone down and the city had piled sandbags thigh high on the sides to try to keep a flow going.
I had a good checkup at the cardio today. Nothing has changed except that I only had two episodes of palpitations in 6 months that corrected themselves without help. I used to have more than that before I got from my bed to the kitchen in the mornings. I count that as a win.
My daughter had an appointment there today too, she has the same thing, so we went together. She had some planned shopping across the street and we had a good day except that her oldest son's car was stolen last night. It really threw her for a loop but we were able to replace the baby's car seat while we were there so that they can at least use his truck to go places.
I am grateful that they had full coverage and gap insurance on it so it should be paid off fully if he don't get it back. It is a popular model for choppers in the area. He had just gotten his golf clubs and some other things from storage and they were getting groceries and a baby into a 2 story walk-up so he ended up not making another trip down for his clubs and there were other things in the car. Know what they were most upset about? The toddler had been wearing his Batman crocs and had taken them off in the car before they got home and they didn't get them when they got him out. I am sure that we can find some Batman Crocs to replace them. I am also grateful that it was stollen from the parking lot and they were not hijacked as some people in Memphis are.
You ladies putting up with me stressing. You are all amazing.
