Bill had to get the old seat off and a neighbor has to connect one thing but I did the rest myself. My bathroom is tiny so it was a pain but proud of myself. Had leaks when I first turned the back on and sort of flooded the bathroom (x2 LOL) but I've got a working bidet.

It has an outlet for hot water but I'd need a plumber to come in to make that happen. I've only used it once. Water is definitely chilly but my biggest thing is I don't like having a wet butt! After surgery, I won't be able to reach behind me to dry my bum. I guess I'll just have to sit on a towel and wiggle a little bit!
