using the hot tub? Do you use a similiar product to keep the pool and hot tub clean and clear?

I asked because I just remembered that when we moved here 40+ years ago my husband started breaking out in hives. He went to the dermatologist several times before the dermatologist suggested the water treatment for the area where we lived. He said that he had a few other patients who also got hives that lived there, and one got relief when he moved away and that was all that he could figure since the area used a different product to treat the water tha other municipalities around. We moved shortly after that, and no more hives. Last year, after swimming in my son's poo,l he broke out in hives. My son couldn't get his regular treatment and had used a different product. When he switched back to his regular product, it didn't bother my husband again.

What ever is causing this, I hope you both get relief soon.
