When I went to the podiatrist she told me that I needed to be fitted for compression socks. I had just gone through struggling to put Ken’s on him after he came home from the hospital and wasn’t wanting to sign up for that struggle every morning before I went to work. Of course since I said the word compression socks near my iPad, I suddenly started getting ads on Facebook for some! I chose a company called Everstride that had socks that would fit wide calves. Little did I know the company was in China and it took close to a month to get them. The company said it usually doesn’t take that long, so I don’t know if that is normal or not, but I ordered 4 pairs and they ran right around $63.00.
I finally got them and I have to tell you I LOVE them! The socks are very soft and when I put them on they stay up! I am so used to knee high socks rolling down my leg! The compression is more like a hug and very comfortable. And the best thing is, I have not had restless legs in the evening since wearing them! That is the best thing! Even when I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom my legs don’t hurt! Usually I would have to get up and take several steps before my legs didn’t bother me in the middle of the night. No more!
They slide right on in the morning and thanks to being sized for a wider calf they don’t cut into my legs! I would have never thought that I would get any kind of benefit from compression socks, but I am definitely getting a lot out of wearing these!
I just wanted to share my experience!
