She removed the picc line. YAY

She showed me the wound as it is now and that pic reflects how much further my back gas to heal to close the wound. If infection wasn't an issue, the surgeon would have just closed it when he finished operating. Instead he left it open to make sure the vac and antibiotics cleared the infection. Did I tell you guys that MY share (after insurance pays it's part)of each infusion Deborah gave me is around $170? I think she came over 12x!

So I don't know when the vac comes off. She did do it differently today so maybe it will be easier to lay down. For the curious, I put a pic of the wound below, hopefully out of site for those who don't want to see it. Krista has had so many questions. I thought this might help.
