After several surgeries and being on antibiotics almost constantly for over 18 months in the 2000 teens. My vision changed, literally overnight. I was reading before bed one night, and the next day, when I picked up the book, it was hard to read. I started to drive somewhere and put my glasses on when I got in the car, as usual. Everything was so blurry backing out of the garage that I took my glasses off to clean them, thinking they were just dirty. I was shocked to realize that everything out there was perfectly clear, and I could read the street sign a block away. Went to the eye doctor, and he told me that the meds had changed the pressure in my eyes and caused the shape to change enough to change my vision from near-sighted to farsighted. I started needing glasses to read some things, but could at least read the computer without them. My husband was going into Walmart or Kroger or somewhere and I asked him to get me some reading glasses as Doc suggested. All he could find was a three-pack in the strength that I needed. I put a pair in the kitchen to read the back of boxes, one by my chair and one in my purse. Over the years they have grown as I guess my eyes have become worse but strangely my prescription hasn't changed since I got my first 3 pairs of readers.
