a place that sells lox and bagels around the Memphis area, but my husband and I often have thin slices of smoked salmon on crackers smeared with any flavor of Boursin cheese. Sometimes we swap the crackers for toasted Italian bread. We usually don't buy bagels anymore. We just eat too many of them when we have them when they are here, and nowhere to buy just one. Bakeries that serve bread are not big here. We have cupcake or bundt cake bakeries, but not bread or even pies or cakes. Wedding cake bakers even specialize in JUST wedding cakes. Hmm, maybe I could make us a couple of those WW bagels made with just yogurt and flour next time we have smoked salmon. It's a thought.
