1) Dad and Paul are talking about additional things to make life easier for Dad - a chair lift, walk in tub changes, hearing aids. It's really refreshing to hear them thinking about the future. Yes, Dad will probably have an ostomy bag after surgery but he's still going to live and that's very positive in my eyes
