Our oldest grandson moved to the Gulf Coast today. It is sad, but I am grateful that they made it there safely with no problems. So grateful.

Poppy's littermate/look-alike is visiting today. She is loving it. I keep debating whether to get another dog because she loves to play so much, but she is also jealous of our affection, and I am afraid that I will get one that is not as easy as Poppy.

We looked at two houses yesterday, and both are real contenders. Now we just have to decide which one we want, and she has us scheduled to look at one in a new 55+ community that she thinks may make us change our minds. At least we are getting somewhere.

My husband sold his heavy-duty work truck today. I have wanted him to sell it since he got his new one, but he couldn't turn it loose. He never used it, but he said, "might need to." One more, even bigger truck, and the fleet will be gone. Yay!

Almost time for school to be out, and I will get to spend the rest of the day/night with our granddaughter. It is sometimes hard for older kids to fit into a new family, but even though she was 9 when she came to us, she just fit right into our family, and we enjoy being around her as she has grown into a teenager. I love all my boys, but it is nice to have a sweet girl around sometimes too.
