1. When my husband and I were leaving the store, we saw a perfect rainbow from end to end. Sure, it was raining, but that didn't stop us from staring in awe at the beauty of it.

2. Yesterday, we spent several hours attempting to get our portable generator to start in preparation for the hurricane season. After making four calls to the company and following the directives of four technicians, we still couldn't get the thing to start, but it did have us laughing like we were some comedy routine. The company is sending us a part that they think is the problem. We shall see. At one point, we were wondering if we were on an episode of Candid Camera.

3. I am reading up a storm using the Libby app.

4. Speaking of reading, it's time for me to once again be grateful for cataract surgery.
