1) had a call with nutritionist Estefania this morning and although the online documents said Days 3-13 would be "full fluids", it's only a WEEK instead. Then I'll be moving onto blenderized / pureed food. I was thrilled to hear that!

2) Dad's 81rst birthday is Sunday. Ray thinks I should tell them about the surgery but I would rather not have them questioning / worrying about it. I'll just say I'm on a "special diet" when we have the meal / cake on Sunday

3) by this time next week, I expect I will be in recovery. I need to be at the clinic at 6:15 and the nutritionist said I am probably first surgery of the day at 8:30 am. Surgery is 1 to 1 1/2 hours then you're in recovery for another 3-4 hours.

4) GORGEOUS weather here this week! Sunshine and warm temps always make me happy!
