she had her cataract surgery today at Children’s Hospital. Was right at 3 hours long. I was so nervous but she’s fine. Has to wear a patch for 2 weeks and have 3 meds put in her eye 2 x a day. That will not be fun w a Just turned 4 year old! She also rocks herself to self soothe and is rather vigorous so they have to really watch her.
After she heals from surgery she will be fitted for glasses and have bifocals for life. The lens they put in was a +27! He said she wasn’t seeing much.
Monica’s eye surgery is Nov 6. These babies! She already has her glasses. So cute
