2. Being off today to take Ken to our new doctor at 1:00. Our regular doctor retired and so we are trying out a new doctor that just moved into Hutchinson from Iowa. He was voted Physician of the year in 2023 so I am excited to see if we like him.
3. This is big! Yesterday my boss came into my office with a gift card for $150 to Home Depot (to help with my renovations) to say thank you for all of my hard work AND she told me that I am getting a $1.50 an hour raise on top of my 3% raise I just got at the beginning of September!! How fantastic is that! We just finished our fiscal year and the employment department which I am the head of brought in $169,076.00 and I personally brought in $80,616.50 of that amount! It is so nice to be recognized as being a valuable member of our non profit.
4. My buffet that I ordered for my kitchen/dining room arrived yesterday. It is 59 inches long but only around 15.5 inches wide and I plan on putting my microwave and Keurig coffee maker on it! I have to put it together so that should be fun! I have the perfect spot for it and am so excited!
5. This day and all it has to offer. God is good.
