Murray is doing some better! He is eating more. The doctors are waiting for his brain scan results to see if the cancer has spread there. No cancer his bones! They have cultured the liquid from his plurel effusion. So far it looks like no cancer. They are culturing the fungal infection in his lung... so far no cancer. The small cell lung cancer seems to be located in one area only in his right lung.That is very promising.

He is eating and drinking more. YAY.

This afternoon the oncology practice meets and they go over what is happening with Murray as far as the next step. Our doctor says she is advocating that Murray stay in the hospital and do his 1st 3 sets of chemo there. One each day. She then wants him to go to rehabilitation for 2-3 weeks to gain strength. Then he comes home to do his 2nd round of the 3 days of chemo outpaitient. And a final set in infusion center. We all like this plan. Of course it must be approved by the insurance company. I hope it is approved. I'll let you all know when I know.

I have been exhuausted. Needing to 'be there' to hear what the doctors are thinking. And of course adding in that I need transportation.

The 'troops' are arriving this week. Family wants to see him. Nancy comes back today. Barb and Mandy are flying in on Wednesday night. And, niece Erika, is coming on Friday evening. I am grateful. Barb and Mandy will stay at a hotel.
