I believe you are right. We don't have to be all or nothing because we can't maintain that forever. We can plan to have 1 of what we are craving every once in a while and get right back to our other plan the NEXT MEAL. No more of this 'I blew it, I might as well eat what I want the rest of the day and start over tomorrow'. There is no blowing it; there is only planning a little more here and there or a little special here or there. Eat what we want in smaller portions, less frequently. That is how the "normal size" eats. Yeah, some may gain a few pounds in winter and do a push after the first of the year, but not this constant battle.
