My son's family landed safely in Florida last night, only a little over an hour late. Between a Nor'easter in the area they were going, a holiday weekend, and air traffic control being short-staffed, it was not as bad as it could have been.

Dog sitting. We have one all black and one all white Schnauzer this week. They are so cute together. They are 1 month apart in age and love to play with each other until they drop, nap and start again. We laugh at them all the time.

I think being here helped my cousin. She has her daughter to help her out at home but wouldn't let us do anything for her that she could do herself, not to mention that just going to the bathroom took all of her 50' cord. She can go all over her house from the center and not use half her cord. She went home and has been on the go all week doing more than she ever did before she came down here. Grateful that it helped her.

Beautiful fall weather this weekend. We had flooding while we were gone, we needed water, the Mississippi is still very low, but I am glad to see the sun again and enjoy the fall-like temps instead of the 90 we were having and are headed back to in a few days.

We don't have to move yet. I am sorta excited about getting a new place but NOT about moving, even getting professionals to move us, it will still be stressful.
