Second purple trench fit! So black one sent back. Will have a purple purse, too. Went to the nail salon yesterday to have a pedicure with no new polish because no one will see my feet until next May! LOL At the last minute, I decided to get my nails done. Eggplant!

Made a dinner reservation in Madrid where the servers sing opera as they serve. The chosen arias are somehow related to the food. The choices for the main course are beef *steak*, which I haven't eaten in years and hake with 'angulas'. Looked it up...baby eels. They are a 'rare delicacy' but, after seeing a pic of them, there's no way I could bite into them. May have to cancel the reservation.



Friends like you who 'accompany' me on my trips. Carin, with whom I check in with each night to reassure her that I am safely tucked in each night. I never really feel alone!
