I am so excited!!! My DIL, who works in the hospital, texted me today to say that my gastroenterologist is back. He had moved away a year ago, and it was time for my endoscopy. I had to find a new doctor whom I don't like nearly as well, and he wanted to do both an endo and a colonoscopy at the same time. He wants to do it in the hospital ambulatory since he is afraid I will code. He wants me to take a prep that reacts horribly with me and wouldn't listen that some of the others do not make me have a GI flare for months at a time. His name was on a list my insurance sent me, but after my first visit, his office called me to tell me that he was not on my insurance and I would have to pay for it myself. Insurance did pay for it, again, I got a call telling me he was not in network. I have been so confused and unhappy. After my DIL texted me, I called my old doctor's practice, and they told me that I don't need anything but an endo next spring, and they are calling me back to schedule it. Since I didn't have any colon polyps last time, I don't have to have a colonoscopy until 2032!!!! So relieved! Paula listened to her body and cancelled some side trips that would have overexhausted her at this recovery point. I am glad that she is not trying to push too hard when her body is already in recovery mode. Cindy found a new doctor who seems like the best! That is worth so much. Krista's doctors are being reassuring about her not losing as much as she felt that she should and have included some fruits and vegetables. It is a long sleeved shirt day. Supposed to get up to 75 today but at almost 2 PM is only 63. I don't like cold weather but I like this!
