ceilings are all the stapled-on ceiling tiles that were the rage in the 60s though the house was built a decade or more later. Every single ceiling. They don't make the ones in the house anymore, so when the three went through the living room, we had to redo that room in updated tiles. We really want something different, but don't know if we want to go with sheetrock everywhere, since it is on a lake in a valley, so it stays damp there a lot, hence the paneling and ceiling tiles. They are more resistant to moisture.
