Took a little trip with our son and his wife today. It was enjoyable.

God's Grace was with us, and we arrived home safely. We saw two very bad wrecks today. Each happened just ahead of us. But by the grace of God, we weren't in either.

We let our son choose where we stopped to eat as a birthday treat. He found a new-to-us restaurant. It had delicious food. My husband and DIL had shakes that they said were some of the best they had ever had. I didn't even taste either of them because they were HUGE and I didn't want to be tempted to order one.

Poppy stayed home, and our daughter ran over and let her out. It is nice to have someone who will do that. It really makes us second-guess moving away from here.

Paula's trip has been successful and she was able to walk over two miles yesterday, though she had admitted to herself that she was wearing down. I think she is ready to up her game when she gets home.
