A good stove and oven that works well. I am taking a few things that travel well with me. A working stove makes everything a lot easier.

Running water. It is such an inconvenience when the water is not running.

Electricity runs to my house, and a generator when that doesn't work, which happens to be often in our neighborhood because the poles fall over so often when the wind blows, and the wind blows in the delta all the time.

My washer, dryer, and dishwasher are always ready to clean up for me. The old lake house does not have a dishwasher yet, and it seems that even with the two of us I seemed to spend most of my time in the kitchen cleaning up.

My sewing machine. It makes mending easy as well as making things and I do love to make all things fabric.
