Yesterday evening I started feeling a little congested but I was ignoring it. ( it can’t be, right? ). I’ve waited all these months, put this surgery off for so long and now this. Well I didn’t sleep well and was definitely more congested, raspy voice, headache etc when I woke up. Waited a couple of hours and I knew I had to call my surgeons office. The instructions say if you have symptoms of a cold or any fever etc call immediately.

Well of course they cancelled the surgery. As it stands now it is scheduled for Jan 30 instead. Praying I get over this. John is sicker now than he was. He went back today and was finally put on doxycycline and breathing treatments.

I think it won’t be as bad for me.
