were able to get your dishwasher fixed without calling someone to come out. I had a dishwasher that went out shortly after getting it. It was the motherboard. They fixed it for free because it was still under warranty, but I had to wash dishes for about a week while they ordered it.

The old lake house did not have a dishwasher. When my oldest grandson and his wife went up there with some friends once, she told me when they came back that she was the one who washed the dishes. She said she knew how because in their first house after they got married, their dishwasher went on the fritz, so she had to learn how to wash dishes. It never dawned on me that a grown person wouldn't know how to wash dishes, but I guess it is a thing these days.
