may get 18"-24" of snow, possibly on top of freezing rain. I have never seen more than 12" before and I used to live on top of a plateau near the Smokies. Since we don't have the equipment to clear the roads, because we rarely need it, people may be stuck at home for over a week. People here can't drive when it rains, I can't imagine this.
