There was no daycare this whole last week. By yesterday, Cosette was going crazy. I couldn't e en walk her because we don't have sidewalks and the streets in my neighborhood are completely still ice! We'll, her restlessness peaked yesterday. She wanted out, immediately back in. Wait 10 minutes. Repeat. Or she would get on her hind legs and drape herself over me and moan. She loves burrowing her head under my books or pits or whatever she can find. I called Toby Town and asked if there were boarders there that she could play with (no daycare). They said to bring her in. When I told her we were going to go to DC, she we t bonkers! She's so funny! They said she played her heart out the whole time.

My Lew is courageous. This weather and all.the ice has been so awful for him but, out he goes. Yesterday, he went down on my wood floor and couldn't get up. He tried and tried but his back legs wouldn't cooperate. I had to scoop under his belly and get him up. Falling isn't anything new but, not being able to get up, is.

Cindy's surgery is behind her. On to a less painful life!
